A baggy female-specific mountain bike short utilizing all of our engineering experience and fabric knowledge, the laalaLaiCargoShorts are crafted to satisfy the most demanding mountain bike riders.

After first launching the ASSOS men’s rallyCargo short in 2016 to great acclaim, these women’s riding shorts represent our latest foray into the off-road discipline, and see us realign our vision to female riders. Pooling all of our engineering experience and fabric expertise, these hardwearing and high performing mountain bike shorts deliver an ASSOS-standard performance for trail, gravel and mountain bike riding. Borrowing technology and design cues from the T.rallyShort_s7, we have used our StonePine fabric for these women’s shorts for off-road riding, making them strong, water-repellent and fast drying. For female riders, we’ve adjusted the cut and employed a female-specific design with zips on the legs to give next generation ASSOS comfort whilst mountain biking.

HOW TO USE

These women’s mountain biking shorts are the second layer above the H rallyInnershorts woman. Crafted for off-road riding in hot weather, these premium shorts can also be worn above regular ASSOS cycling shorts or tights alongside an ASSOS skinFoil baselayer. To build an outfit suited to cooler spring/fall rides, add the warmth of our legwarmer_evo7 or kneewarmer_evo7.

Female-specific MTB cut: Anatomically mapped fit. Ensures the garment works in harmony with a woman’s body on the bike. Type.498 StonePine tex: Water-repellent and fast drying, the main fabric guarantees speed, strength and resilience. Tech Sheen: A super stretchy and hardwearing warp-knit mesh found on the rear for optimal breathability when paired with our H.rallyInnershorts woman or any other ASSOS shorts or tights. DWR: Hydrophobic treatment – Durable Water Repellent – to protect from showers. regularFit: A body mapped performance fit that is a little less aggressive than our racingFit. The best of both worlds, wearability and speed converging. Zipped essentials pocket: Designed and refined in-house, this front-facing pocket allows you to safely carry essentials for your ride.
