Cipollini Bond Frame Only Red/Black – Size XL

The Bond name is owed to the bike’s key design feature. Rather than being a one-piece frame, the seatstays and chainstays are separate sections, molded so they lock into the front triangle before being bonded together. This process gives greater stiffness than traditional lugging techniques, while offering improved compliance and comfort.

Cipollini prides itself on original ideas, and not mimicking the status quo. Atomlink is the revolutionary rear triangle construction at the heart of Bond’s amazing power transfer and explosive acceleration. Thin seatstays in a wishbone shape offer compliance over rough surfaces. Oversized, asymmetrical chainstays lock into place on each side of the BB386 bottom bracket, creating a wide, rigid area that converts every ounce of effort into miles per hour.

A HIGH VELOCITY BULLET

Bond is clearly built for speed across the tarmac. The geometry is racy, aerodynamic and powerful. Frame tubing is sculpted into a smooth, aerodynamic profile. A cut-away seat tube tightly hugs the arc of the rear tires, improving aerodynamics in the area. A deep section carbon fiber seat post adds to Bond’s aero credentials, as well as improving comfort for the rider on the saddle.
